Role Overview

Responsible for end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing of electronic components, sensors, and mechanical commodities, including supplier identification, development, cost optimization, and ensuring timely material availability to support manufacturing operations and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers to meet procurement and business requirements.
- Float Requests for Quotation (RFQs), conduct techno-commercial evaluations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
- Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies while monitoring supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Drive supplier development initiatives and coordinate issue resolution with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.
- Ensure timely material availability, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply-chain risks through alternate sourcing and contingency planning.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives through strategic negotiations, value engineering, localization, and alternate sourcing.
- Analyze market trends, commodity pricing,



supplier capabilities, and potential supply-chain risks.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure effective procurement operations.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and participate in design reviews to ensure sourcing feasibility and material readiness.

* Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Commodity Management.
- Mandatory experience in procurement of electronic components, sensors, and related assemblies.
- Knowledge of mechanical commodities, supplier networks, and sourcing practices.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to UAV, Aerospace Systems, Avionics, Defense Electronics, or Precision Manufacturing.
- Experience in import procurement, global sourcing, supplier qualification, and supplier audits.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage procurement activities and supplier commitments within stringent delivery timelines.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
