You could be the person an elderly individual looks forward to meeting — someone they can talk to, share stories with, go for a walk with, visit a temple with or simply spend a peaceful afternoon with.

Sometimes, people do not need medical attention or professional caregiving. They simply need someone who will listen without rushing them, keep them company and help them feel less lonely.

That is the role of a Sathiyaa Companion.

Please note: This is a non-medical companionship role, not a nursing, medical-care, maid or domestic-helper position. Companions are not expected to administer medical treatment, perform clinical procedures or undertake duties outside their agreed role and training.

What Will You Do?

Depending on the client's needs and the mutually agreed service plan, your responsibilities may include:

- Conversation and companionship: Talk, listen, share experiences and provide friendly company.
- Walks and light outdoor activities: Accompany clients on safe walks or spend time outdoors together.
- Temple visits and local outings: Accompany clients to nearby temples, parks or other agreed destinations.
- Doctor's appointments: Accompany clients to appointments and help with basic coordination, such as waiting together or assisting with communication, within your agreed responsibilities.
- Everyday engagement: Play board games, read together, discuss hobbies,



watch a favourite programme or help make the day more enjoyable.
- Emotional presence: Be patient, respectful and attentive, especially when someone feels isolated or simply wants to talk.
- Basic non-medical assistance: Offer reasonable, agreed support during the visit without taking on nursing, personal-care or household duties outside the role.

Every visit should be based on the client's requirements, mutual comfort and the service agreed upon before the booking. Who Can Apply?

You may be a good fit if you are:

- A college student, homemaker, working professional, retired individual or someone looking for flexible work.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and listening to their experiences.
- Patient, polite, empathetic, punctual and dependable.
- Comfortable interacting respectfully with senior citizens and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Able to communicate clearly in Gujarati, Hindi and/or English.
- Honest, responsible and willing to follow Sathiyaa's safety guidelines.
- Willing to complete mandatory identity, address and police verification checks.

Freshers are welcome. Previous experience in companionship, hospitality, customer service, social work or community support is an advantage, but a caring attitude and responsible conduct matter greatly.

Flexible Working Opportunities

You do not need to commit to a traditional nine-to-five schedule.

Sathiyaa offers opportunities based on your availability and the number of hours you can dedicate.

- Freelance: Accept visits according to your availability.
- Part-time: Dedicate a few hours on selected days.
- Full time: Indicate broader availability for multiple client visits, subject to demand and scheduling.
- Student-friendly: Apply if you can consistently dedicate a few hours around your classes or other commitments.

Each client booking has a minimum duration of 2 hours. You can share your preferred days, time slots and weekly availability. Visits will be assigned based on client requirements, your location, suitability and mutual availability.



Please note that this is a flexible service-provider opportunity, and the number of bookings and earnings will depend on client demand, availability and confirmed assignments. A fixed number of hours or guaranteed income is not promised.

Applicants must

- Provide valid identity and address proof.
- Complete police verification — mandatory before starting any client assignment.
- Provide accurate personal, educational and professional details.
- Participate in an introductory interaction and suitability assessment.
- Agree to follow Sathiyaa's code of conduct, client confidentiality requirements and safety procedures.
- Treat every client with dignity, respect, patience and discretion.
