Role Description The CAD Design Intern role is an internship position and is fully remote. The intern will support the design team by producing and refining technical drawings, 2D and 3D CAD models, and documentation for automotive parts.

Day-to-day tasks include following established CAD standards, updating existing designs, assisting with design revisions, and preparing drawings for review and production. The intern will collaborate with engineers and designers,



participate in virtual design reviews, and ensure that all drawings meet quality and accuracy requirements. This role offers hands-on experience with industry tools and workflows, along with mentorship to build practical design skills.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Drawing.
- Candidates should possess skills in CAD Standards and Technical Drawing.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM), where relevant to design workflows.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or automotive design principles is beneficial.
- Ability to learn recent software tools, follow technical instructions, and pay close attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in engineering, design, or a related technical field is preferred.
