Senior Business Analyst :

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.

- Review and understand BRDs, KBQs, FIAs, vendor documentation, source files, and data dictionaries.

- Create and maintain Functional Requirement Specification Documents (FRD), business rules, KPIs, source-to-target mappings, user stories, and test scenarios.

- Perform data discovery, profiling, validation, reconciliation, and impact analysis.

- Utilize SQL, Excel, Microsoft Fabric, and self-service analytics tools for data exploration and validation.

- Analyze data sources, transformations, and reporting requirements.

- Support business stakeholders in reporting mockups and dashboard requirements for Power BI.

- Translate business requirements and data logic to data engineering teams and participate in solution design discussions.

- Support SIT/UAT, defect triage, and requirement validation.

- Track dependencies, risks, assumptions, and action items,



and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of Business Analysis hands-on experience supporting Data & Analytics projects.

- Strong hands-on expertise in requirements documentation, including BRD, FIA, FRS, business rules, data mapping, and test scenarios.

- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, profiling, and validation.

- Understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts, including Facts, Dimensions, Primary Keys, and Star Schema design.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Excel, and self-service analytics tools.

- Understanding of APIs based data exchanges, SFTP-based file exchanges, and analytics data ingestion concepts.

- Solid communication skills and articulation of thoughts with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

- Pharmaceutical commercial data experience preferred.
