Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong skills in requirements gathering, functional specification development, process mapping, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience driving business analysis activities in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of business and technology initiatives. Professional certifications in Business Analysis or Agile methodologies are a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering &

- Analysis

- Lead end-to-end requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, user observations, and document analysis.
- Translate business needs into clear Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and feasibility studies for new or enhanced capabilities.

Process Mapping &

- Documentation

- Develop detailed process maps, workflows, and system interaction diagrams using industry-standard tools.
- Analyze and optimize business processes to eliminate inefficiencies and improve operational performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FSDs, process flows, and traceability matrices.

Agile/Scrum Collaboration

- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.




- Ensure timely refinement of user stories and continuous alignment with product vision.

Stakeholder Communication

- Facilitate communication across business teams, product owners, developers, QA, and leadership.
- Manage expectations, conduct regular status updates, and ensure alignment on project goals and outputs.
- Support change management activities, user training, and post-implementation reviews.

Required Skills &

- Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Candidate who has worked in the BFSI domain.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role.
- Proven expertise in:
- Requirements Gathering
- Functional Specifications / User Stories
- Process Mapping &
- Workflow Design
- Agile/Scrum Methodology
- Stakeholder Communication &
- Coordination
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.

- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM
- Agile BA Certification (IIBA-AAC)
- Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt
