Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Collections Manager role based in Davangere.

The Branch Collections

Manager will oversee the collections function for the branch, manage delinquent accounts, and ensure timely recovery of dues while maintaining regulatory and company compliance standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, setting and tracking collection targets, conducting regular follow-ups with customers, and resolving payment issues in a professional and ethical manner. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, supervising collection staff or partners, preparing periodic reports, and recommending corrective actions to minimize risk and improve collection efficiency.



The manager will be expected to maintain accurate documentation, adhere to company policies, and support a positive customer experience throughout the collections process.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong collections and recovery management skills, including experience in managing delinquent portfolios and implementing effective collection strategies.
- Candidates should demonstrate solid customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, handle objections, and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Candidates should have sound analytical and reporting abilities, including comfort with data analysis, basic financial understanding, and use of branch-level MIS tools.
- Candidates should possess operational and compliance awareness, including familiarity with lending processes, regulatory guidelines, and internal risk and audit requirements.
- Candidates should show leadership and team management capabilities, with experience guiding field collection teams or partners and driving performance against targets.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in NBFCs, banks, or other retail lending institutions is an advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant local languages and English, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work from the branch location in Davangere, will be beneficial.
