Job Summary

Sai Service Pvt. Ltd., NEXA, Thellakom, is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Body Shop Manager to oversee the overall operations of the automobile body shop. The candidate will be responsible for managing accident repair operations, denting and painting activities, manpower, customer satisfaction, quality control, and profitability while ensuring timely vehicle delivery and adherence to company standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of automobile body repairs, excellent team management skills, and proven experience in managing body shop operations in an automobile dealership or service center.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the overall day-to-day operations of the body shop.
- Oversee accident repair, denting, painting, bodywork, and vehicle restoration activities.
- Ensure high-quality repairs and timely delivery of vehicles to customers.
- Monitor body shop productivity, operational efficiency, revenue, and profitability.
- Allocate work to technicians and ensure optimum utilization of manpower and workshop resources.
- Supervise and coordinate with denters, painters, technicians, service advisors, and other team members.
- Ensure proper inspection of vehicles before and after repairs to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, and customers for accident claims and repair approvals.




- Monitor repair estimates, job cards, spare parts requirements, and work-in-progress vehicles.
- Ensure proper utilization of tools, equipment, paint materials, and other workshop resources.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
- Implement safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and proper waste management practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, turnaround time, customer satisfaction, and repeat repairs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and workshop quality standards.
- Train, motivate, and develop team members to improve technical performance and productivity.
- Prepare and submit regular operational and performance reports to management.

Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma or Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automobile body shop operations, preferably with managerial or supervisory experience.
- Experience in an authorized automobile dealership or multi-brand body shop will be an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of accident repairs, denting, painting, body alignment,



and vehicle estimation.
- Experience in insurance claim processing and coordination with insurance surveyors.
- Good knowledge of workshop management, manpower planning, and operational cost control.
- Strong leadership, communication, customer handling, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with workshop management software.
- Ability to manage multiple repair jobs while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
