We are looking for a qualified and responsible Blood Bank Technician to join our healthcare team.

Qualifications:

- DMLT / B.Sc. MLT or equivalent qualification as per applicable requirements.

- Relevant 3yr experience in a blood bank or transfusion medicine laboratory is preferred.

- Freshers may also apply, subject to eligibility.

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform blood grouping, Rh typing, and compatibility testing (cross-matching).

- Handle blood collection, processing, storage, and issue procedures as authorized.

- Maintain proper documentation and blood bank records.

- Ensure quality control, hygiene, and compliance with applicable safety standards.

- Follow infection control protocols and biomedical waste management procedures.

- Ensure the safe handling and storage of blood and blood components.

Required Skills:

- Good technical knowledge and attention to detail.

- Robust communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency requirements.

- Responsible and patient-safety-oriented approach.
