Key Focus :

To lead the corporate legal function and develop strategies for data governance and contractual frameworks across a financial services group, ensuring that NBFC, Digital Lending (LSP), and Insurance Corporate Agency businesses comply with applicable regulations while maintaining commercial agility.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Contract Lifecycle Management: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including co-lending agreements, SaaS contracts, Vendor Service Agreements, Tripartite LSP contracts, Product Partnership Agreements, NDAs, and MOUs.

2. Data Privacy & Protection: Develop and implement a group-wide data privacy framework aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and international best practices for data residency and security.

3. Inter-Entity Governance: Manage legal complexities relating to shared data, resources, and services between NBFC, LSP, and Insurance Corporate Agency businesses.

4.



Product Advisory: Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to review UI/UX flows, consent architecture, and data collection practices to ensure legal compliance.

5. Automation: Drive automation across the corporate legal function, including compliance, contract lifecycle management (CLM), and risk assessment.

Candidate Profile

1. Experience: 4–8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably focused on NBFCs, Fintech, Technology Law, and Data Privacy.

2. Education: LL.B./LL.M. from a reputed university. Data Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E would be an added advantage.

3. Skills: Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate the overlap between Insurance Laws and RBI Lending Regulations.
