Role Description The Associate Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Bangalore, Karnataka. This role involves supporting the design and development of interior spaces for retail outlets, offices, and display environments, aligning with Sheela Foam’s brand identity and product portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing design concepts and mood boards, coordinating FF&E; selections,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and manufacturing to ensure design feasibility.

The Associate Interior

Designer will prepare and update construction drawings and documentation, support vendor and contractor coordination, and participate in site visits to monitor implementation and quality. The role also includes researching interior design trends, materials, and technologies to contribute to innovative, customer-centric environments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to develop functional and aesthetically aligned layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to translate concepts into clear, buildable design documentation.
- Candidates should possess experience with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination for interior projects.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively on-site, and effective communication and time-management skills.
- Experience in retail, commercial, or product-based interior environments is an advantage.
