Assistant Manager- Plant ESG & Utilities Supervisor

Location- Vadodara, GJ

Job Purpose To ensure reliable, productive, and safe operation of plant utility systems while managing ESG compliance, reporting, sustainability initiatives, and statutory requirements to support continuous manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain utilities including HVAC systems, DG sets, substations, LT/HT panels, electrical distribution systems, and fire protection systems.
- Monitor utility load distribution and ensure uninterrupted utility availability across the plant.
- Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for utility equipment and material handling systems.
- Maintain asset records, equipment history, and reliability improvement plans.
- Operate and maintain STP, rainwater harvesting systems, and water conservation initiatives.
- Monitor water consumption, recycling efficiency, and environmental performance.
- Collect, validate, analyze, and report ESG data related to energy, water, waste, and emissions.
- Maintain ESG dashboards and ensure timely submission of ESG reports.
- Act as ESG SPOC and coordinate with Corporate ESG, EHS, and cross-functional teams.
- Track ESG KPIs, closures,



and sustainability action plans.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, ISO, ESG, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct utility safety inspections, risk assessments, and support internal and external audits.
- Manage utility AMCs, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
- Drive energy efficiency, water conservation, emission reduction, and sustainability improvement projects.

Key Stakeholders Internal: EHS, ESG, Production, Maintenance, Plant Operations

External: Vendors, AMC Providers, Auditors, Regulatory Authorities

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience
- 7-10 years of experience in utility operations, facility management, and maintenance.
