Role Description The Assistant IT Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban. This role supports the IT Manager in overseeing daily IT operations across retail outlets and corporate offices, ensuring systems, networks, and devices are stable, secure, and available.

Responsibilities include monitoring hardware and software performance, coordinating installation and upgrades, troubleshooting user issues, and maintaining data backups and security protocols. The Assistant IT Manager will collaborate with vendors and internal teams, document IT processes, and assist in implementing new technologies to improve operational efficiency.



The role also involves training staff on IT best practices and providing timely support during store rollouts, campaigns, and technology transitions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in IT infrastructure support, including hardware installation, basic server management, and end-user device maintenance.
- Candidates should possess skills in network and security management, such as LAN/WAN troubleshooting, firewall and antivirus administration, and data backup practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in software and application support, including operating system configuration, retail or POS system handling, and incident troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation and process management, including IT asset tracking, SOP creation, and maintenance of service and support records.
- Candidates should possess skills in collaboration and communication, with the ability to coordinate with vendors, support cross-functional teams, and explain technical issues in clear language.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field are preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent) and experience in a multi-location retail or corporate environment will be an added advantage.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under time constraints, and maintain a high standard of service in a fast-paced workplace is essential.
