Role Description The Area Business Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Bharatpur, responsible for driving business growth and achieving sales targets within the assigned area. The role involves managing and supporting a team of sales and financial consultants, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company processes and compliance requirements.

The Area Business

Manager will develop and implement local sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with customers and distribution partners, and identify opportunities to expand market presence. Daily activities include reviewing sales reports,



conducting field visits, providing training and guidance to team members, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring high standards of customer service. The role also requires regular market analysis to understand customer needs and competitive trends and to align area plans with organizational goals.

Qualifications

- Strong sales, business development, and target achievement skills, with experience in financial services or insurance preferred.
- Team leadership and people management capabilities, including coaching, performance monitoring, and motivation of sales staff.
- Customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Analytical and planning abilities, including proficiency in using data and reports to drive decisions and improve performance.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present, train, and collaborate effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications is an advantage.
- Proven experience in area or branch management, preferably in insurance, banking, or allied financial sectors.
- Comfort with on-site work, regular field visits, and familiarity with the local market in and around Bharatpur.
