ELIGIBILITY AND PREFERRED PROFILE

- MS in Orthopaedics or an equivalent recognised qualification, meeting applicable NMC requirements, including equivalence conditions where relevant.
- Eligibility for appointment as HOD and fulfilment of the qualifications, teaching experience and other requirements applicable to the faculty rank offered.




- Valid medical registration and fulfilment of applicable statutory conditions.
- Demonstrated competence in orthopaedic surgery, trauma care, medical education and team leadership.
- A credible record of ethical practice, academic contribution and clinical quality improvement.
- Ability to develop departmental systems, mentor colleagues and implement agreed plans.

Preference will be given to eligible Professors of Orthopaedics with successful experience in departmental leadership, postgraduate teaching, trauma-service development or specialised orthopaedic services.

APPOINTMENT AND REMUNERATION

Nature of appointment: Full time

Remuneration: 3 Lakhs. Commensurate with qualifications, experience and demonstrated achievements.
