ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a full-time aesthetic doctor or plastic surgeon to be the clinical voice of CureMeAbroad for international patients. Working from our Pune office, you will run teleconsultations with patients considering cosmetic and reconstructive procedures abroad, review their photos, medical history, and goals, and give them an honest, well-explained clinical opinion.

Your focus is purely clinical. Pricing, packages, and hospital recommendations are handled by our patient coordination and sales teams, so you can concentrate on assessing suitability, setting realistic expectations, and making sure every patient is safe to proceed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct video teleconsultations with international patients exploring procedures such as rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, lift or reduction, tummy tuck, liposuction, body contouring, mommy makeover, facelift, blepharoplasty, gynaecomastia surgery, hair restoration and non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
- Review patient-submitted photographs, medical history, medications, previous surgeries and expectations, and assess suitability and case complexity.
- Screen for medical risk factors and identify patients who need further tests, optimization or a different approach before traveling.
- Recommend the clinically appropriate procedure or approach for each patient, and explain the expected results, recovery, risks and aftercare in plain, reassuring language, with realistic expectations and no guarantees.
- Advise on clinical timelines, such as recovery period, how long to stay at the destination and when it is safe to fly home.




- Hand over a clear clinical summary and recommendation to our patient coordination team after each consultation, so they can take the patient through costs, hospital options, and booking.
- Uphold the highest standards of clinical ethics, patient confidentiality and data privacy.
- Share feedback on common patient concerns and case patterns to help us improve our process and content.

WHO YOU ARE

Must have

- MBBS with a postgraduate degree in Plastic Surgery (MS, MCh or DNB), or MBBS with a recognized certification, fellowship or diploma in plastic or aesthetic surgery.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission or a state medical council.
- Prior clinical experience in aesthetic or plastic surgery practice.
- Strong command of English, spoken and written, with a clear, warm and confident communication style.
- Comfort with video consultations and with explaining procedures, risks and recovery to non-clinical people.
- Sound clinical judgment and a clear sense of your own scope of practice.
- Ability to work from our Pune office, with hours that match patient time zones (US, UK, Australia, GCC and Europe).

Good to have

- Prior experience in teleconsultations or patient counseling.
- Experience with international patients or medical tourism.
- Robust skills in photo-based assessment and expectation setting.
- Additional languages (Arabic, German, Spanish, or others).
