– Accountant The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting functions, supporting financial analysis, and maintaining accurate financial documentation while delivering high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage general ledger activities and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and other financial reports.
- Assist with GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B and the related reconciliations, and input tax credit verification.
- Reconcile TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and returns prepared by external provider.




- Support the global payroll team with monthly payroll and the related payroll statutory compliances
- Assist in income tax computations and filing requirements.
- Maintain compliance with applicable Indian accounting and taxation regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Monitor bank transactions and cash balances.
- Coordinate with banks regarding account statements and payment issues.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
- M.Com, MBA in Finance, or professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or ACCA is an advantage
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Relevant practical experience in accounting and taxation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Working knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, and income tax procedures.
- Exposure to tax preparation and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Xero or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Valuable communication and organizational skills
