Role Description The Accountant role at Dks Infradesigns is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

The accountant will monitor project-related costs, support internal audits, and maintain organized, up-to-date financial records.



Collaboration with project teams and management to provide accurate financial reports and insights is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic taxation concepts.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage bookkeeping, ledgers, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable with high accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and consistency in documentation.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience in interior designer, infrastructure, or project-based businesses is an advantage.
