Reporting To: Company's Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: 3–5 Years

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Account Manager to manage accounting operations, statutory compliances, taxation, and financial closing activities at our Head Office in Indore. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals and relevant experience in a manufacturing unit or FMCG organization, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments and external tax consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Handle GST and TDS compliance , including return preparation, filing, reconciliations, and timely payments.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book-closing activities and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Coordinate and assist in conducting statutory and tax audits, including preparation of schedules, supporting documents, and audit reports.
- Liaise with external Chartered Accountants, tax consultants, auditors, and other statutory authorities as required.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable taxation laws and other statutory requirements.
- Handle accounting, documentation, and compliance related to PF, ESIC, and Customs , as applicable to business operations.
- Perform account reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and verification of financial transactions.
- Identify discrepancies in accounting records and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and support management with accounting reports and relevant financial information.




- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial and accounting operations.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com or M.Com is mandatory.
- Candidates who have completed CA or CA Intermediate will be given preference.

Experience & Required Skills

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Accounts & Finance function of a manufacturing unit or FMCG company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Practical working knowledge of GST, TDS, book closing, and tax audits.
- Experience in coordinating with external tax consultants and auditors.
- Knowledge of PF, ESIC, and Customs-related documentation and compliance.
- Good command of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet statutory deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a technically sound accounts professional with hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. The candidate should be capable of independently managing assigned accounting activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
