Career Bhavan is looking for Academic Counsellors to join our Sales & Admissions team. The role involves guiding prospective students and parents, understanding their academic and career goals, recommending suitable online education programs, and supporting them through to a confirmed admission.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a target-oriented approach, and experience in educational sales, admissions, academic counselling, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents through calls and online interactions.
- Understand student profiles, qualifications, and career goals to recommend the right programs and universities.
- Explain program details, fees, eligibility, duration, and career outcomes clearly and accurately.
- Handle student and parent queries and objections with confidence and transparency.
- Manage assigned leads and follow up consistently throughout the admission journey.
- Convert qualified enquiries into admissions and achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Maintain accurate lead, follow-up, and conversion records in the CRM.
- Guide students through the application, documentation, and enrolment process.




- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding experience.
- Re-engage inactive and prospective leads through effective follow-up.
- Prepare and maintain required counselling and admission reports.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1+ year of relevant experience in academic counselling, educational sales, admissions, or a similar sales role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Robust counselling, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to handle leads and meet conversion and target-based goals.
- Working knowledge of lead management and CRM processes.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to work Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the education, EdTech, training, or higher education sector.
- Prior experience handling high-volume student enquiries.
- Experience in telecalling, inside sales, or customer support.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
