Job Summary

The SAP Ariba Consultant will be responsible for providing functional support, configuration, enhancement, and continuous improvement services across Reckitt's SAP Ariba platform, covering both Upstream and Downstream procurement processes.

The consultant will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, and SAP teams to ensure reliable operations, continuous process optimization, and adoption of procurement best practices. The role will support business users globally while contributing to Reckitt's digital procurement transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Ariba Upstream Process Support

Support and enhance the following Ariba Upstream modules:

Strategic Sourcing

- Support sourcing events, RFIs, RFQs, and e-auctions.
- Assist business users in sourcing project creation and execution.
- Troubleshoot sourcing workflow issues.
- Support supplier bidding and evaluation processes.

Contract Management
- Support contract authoring and approval workflows.
- Maintain contract templates and clause libraries.
- Assist users with contract lifecycle management.
- Support integration of contracts with procurement processes.

Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)
- Manage supplier onboarding and qualification activities.
- Support supplier registration processes.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and scorecards.
- Assist in supplier risk management activities.

Spend Analysis
- Support procurement analytics and spend visibility reporting.
- Assist users in developing procurement insights and dashboards.
- Analyze data quality and identify improvement opportunities.

Ariba Downstream Process Support

Support and enhance the following Ariba Downstream modules:

Buying & Invoicing

- Manage requisition-to-purchase order processes.
- Support procurement catalog management.
- Troubleshoot purchasing workflow issues.
- Support invoice processing and reconciliation activities.

Guided Buying
- Maintain Guided Buying policies and user experience configurations.
- Support content management and catalog updates.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Supplier Enablement
- Support supplier integration into Ariba Network.
- Resolve document transmission issues.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding and enablement activities.
- Improve supplier adoption of electronic transactions.

Procurement Operations
- Support purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice processes.
- Monitor procurement transaction health.
- Resolve operational issues impacting procurement activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on process improvement initiatives.

Application Support Responsibilities

Incident Management

- Analyze and resolve Ariba production incidents.
- Participate in major incident resolution activities.




- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements.

Service Request Management
- Handle user access requests.
- Support master data maintenance requests.
- Configure workflows, approval rules, and business processes.
- Provide business user support and guidance.

Change & Release Management
- Support system enhancements and change requests.
- Participate in testing activities.
- Coordinate deployments and release validation.
- Maintain system documentation.

Integration & SAP Ecosystem Support

Support integration between Ariba and:

- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- SAP MDG
- SAP Business Network
- Financial Systems
- Supplier Systems
- Tax and Compliance Solutions

Responsibilities include:

- Monitoring interface performance.
- Troubleshooting integration failures.
- Supporting data synchronization activities.
- Coordinating with technical teams for defect resolution.

Experience

- 4 to 7 years of SAP Ariba experience.
- Minimum 2 years supporting both Upstream and Downstream processes.
- Experience in AMS or Global Support environments.
- Experience with multinational procurement operations.
- FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, or Retail industry experience preferred.
