Job Summary : Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lectures on Operation Theatre Technology, including topics like surgical instrumentation, infection control, OT ethics, pre
- and post-operative procedures, and patient preparation.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions simulating OT setups and assist students in understanding real-world OT protocols and emergency responses.
- Prepare lesson plans, academic materials, and practical assessments that align with the curriculum and enhance student learning.
- Monitor students' progress through assessments, practicals, and periodic feedback.
- Mentor and guide students for both academic performance and career development.
- Collaborate with the academic and administrative team to ensure program quality and effectiveness.
Qualifications : Educational Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree in Operation Theatre Technology or a related field (essential)
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications in allied health sciences (preferred)
Experience :
- Prior teaching experience in OT or allied health programs preferred
- Practical/clinical experience working in an operation theatre setting is an added advantage
Skills :
- Deep understanding of surgical environments, sterilization, instrumentation, and OT protocols
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and practical learning environment
