Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, brakes, suspension, and transmission parts.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential problems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Ensure all repairs and services are completed within the given time.
- Maintain service records and report work completed to the service advisor.
- Follow safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the workshop.
- Assist in preparing vehicles for delivery after service.
Required Skills :
- Positive knowledge of automobile mechanics and vehicle systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and quality work
- Ability to work in a team environment
Qualifications :
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years of experience as a car technician or automobile mechanic
- Experience working in a car dealership or service center is preferred
