Cloud Security Engineer

Day to Day Job Duties:

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls across enterprise cloud

environments.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure for security threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance risks.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Perform security assessments, risk analyses, and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and consulting teams to integrate

security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.

- Support incident response, security investigations, and audit activities.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or

related field.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management

(IAM), network security,



and encryption.

- Experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and security

assessment tools.

- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS,

SOC 2, etc.).

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Industry certifications such as AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, CISSP, CCSP, or AWS

Security Specialty.

- Experience with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep), and

container security.

- Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, cloud-native security tools, and threat detection

technologies.

- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud transformation and security

initiatives.
