System Engineer On-Premises Infrastructure

BlueBrix is a healthcare IT company. We build an EHR product and provide RCM services to US clients. We’re hiring a hands-on System Engineer to run our on-premises infrastructure and support our employees.

What you’ll do

- Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Manage virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, backups and restore testing
- Apply patches and security updates, and maintain endpoint protection and access controls
- Troubleshoot server, network and application issues, and coordinate with vendors
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, M365/Outlook, password resets and MFA
- Maintain documentation, SOPs and asset records




- Provide after-hours support and planned maintenance when required

What we’re looking for

- 3–5 years in system administration or infrastructure support
- Strong Windows Server and AD skills, with working knowledge of Linux
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls and DNS troubleshooting
- Experience with backup tools, monitoring tools and ticketing systems
- Valuable communication skills and patience with non-technical users
- Degree or diploma in CS/IT, or equivalent experience
- Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Linux, CompTIA Server+) and ITIL exposure are a plus
