Role & responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and materials science
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo
- Ability to read and create technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications
- Familiarity with engineering analysis and simulation tools
- Robust problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality-control procedures
- Ability to use measurement and testing equipment
- Project management and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
