Role & responsibilities

- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Plan and execute preventive maintenance for paint booths, spray guns, reciprocators, conveyors, ovens, curing systems, and other painting equipment.
- Breakdown Maintenance: Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-related failures to minimize production downtime.
- Paint Booth Maintenance: Maintain booth exhaust fans, circulation fans, filters, pressure differential, airflow, and booth cleanliness.
- Spray Painting Equipment: Maintain automatic and manual spray guns, paint pumps, pressure regulators, hoses, nozzles, and paint circulation systems.
- Conveyor System: Maintain overhead conveyors, power-and-free conveyors, chains, drive motors, gearboxes, bearings, and lubrication systems.
- Oven and Curing System: Monitor oven temperature uniformity, burners, heating elements, circulation fans, temperature controllers, and safety interlocks.
- Robots and Reciprocators: Coordinate maintenance of painting robots, reciprocators, servo systems, sensors, and associated control systems, where installed.
- Equipment Calibration: Ensure proper functioning and calibration of temperature sensors, pressure gauges, flow meters, and other critical instruments.

Utility Maintenance Responsibilities

- Compressed Air System: Maintain air compressors, air dryers,



air receivers, filters, regulators, and distribution pipelines to ensure clean, dry compressed air.
- HVAC and Ventilation: Maintain air-handling units, ventilation fans, cooling systems, and air-conditioning equipment, where applicable.
- Chilled Water System: Maintain chillers, cooling towers, circulation pumps, heat exchangers, and chilled-water pipelines.
- Industrial Water System: Ensure the availability of process water, cooling water, and other required water supplies.
- Electrical Systems: Monitor distribution panels, MCC panels, motors, VFDs, electrical protection systems, and power supply to production equipment.
- Pumps and Motors: Perform routine inspection, lubrication, alignment, vibration monitoring, and replacement of defective components.
- DG Set and Power Backup: Coordinate preventive maintenance and operational readiness of diesel generators and backup power systems, if installed.
- Fire Protection Systems: Ensure the readiness of fire pumps, hydrants, alarms, extinguishers, and other installed fire protection equipment.
- Utility Breakdown Response: Restore essential services quickly to minimize production interruptions.
