Job Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand
our customer base. BDM shall be focused on generating business, acquiring residential and
commercial clients, building partnerships and converting solar opportunities into
projects/contracts. An ideal candidate shall have prior solar / EPC / renewable-energy experience.
Candidates shall focus on B2B / B2C sales, lead generation, negotiation, contract closures and
target achievement. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and
forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
Generate leads through direct sales, referrals, channel partners and digital leads
Generate leads for solar panels / solar EPC projects.
Target and acquire commercial & industrial (C&I;) clients, residential clients, factories,
offices, warehouses, etc.
Arrange and conduct client meetings and site visits
Explain ROI, savings, payback period and financing options




Prepare / coordinate business proposals and quotations
Negotiate and close contracts
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements and Skills
Proven working experience as a business development manager or sales executive in solar
energy company for atleast 1 to 3 years
Prior experience in B2B / B2C sales and business development.
Experience in lead generation and pipeline management of prospective clients / customers.
Strong negotiation and convincing skills.
Robust knowledge of sales growth and revenue generation.
Basic understanding of solar system capacity (kW/MW)
Experience in achieving targets in sales-related field.
Experience in consultive and channel sales.
Willingness to travel for client meetings / site visits / field sales.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Time management, networking and planning skills.
