We are looking for a **Python Automation Engineer** with strong experience in **Python, Robot Framework, CAN, and J1939 industrial protocols**. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts for embedded/industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain **automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework**.
* Design, implement, and execute automated test cases for embedded and industrial applications.
* Work with **CAN communication** and **J1939 protocol** for testing and validation.
* Analyze CAN messages, signals, and communication logs.
* Develop automation for functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
* Debug test failures and identify issues in software, communication, and system behavior.
* Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines where required.
* Collaborate with embedded software developers, test engineers, and system teams.
* Prepare test reports, maintain test documentation, and track defects.
* Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
Required Skills
* **4–7 years of experience** in software/automation testing.
* Strong programming experience in **Python**.
* Hands-on experience with **Robot Framework**.
* Valuable understanding of **CAN (Controller Area Network)**.
* Robust experience with **J1939 industrial protocol**.
* Experience with CAN tools such as **CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar tools** is preferred.
* Good understanding of embedded systems and communication protocols.
* Experience in developing automated test cases and test frameworks.
* Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education
**BE/B.Tech/M.Tech** in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
