ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement and maintain the global LAN, WAN and cloud network infrastructure
Perform network engineering and design for new projects as well as BAU expansion
Perform network support, performance monitoring, capacity planning and troubleshooting
Implement new services as required whilst adhering to CMC policies and procedures
Advise on and remediate network and security risks and issues
Maintain VPN connectivity with various external partners; Ensure up-to-date best practices and security standards
Troubleshoot and perform BAU change on Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls
Provide investigation and resolution during network and security incidents
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues by working with internal teams as required
Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training
When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets
Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
Cisco ACI operation and troubleshooting
Experience with multicast
CCNP networking qualifications
Experience designing and building data centre and cloud networks
Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Desirable
Experience providing network support for Market Data feeds
Experience with SD-WAN
Supporting low-latency production networks in Trading and/or financial services environments
Cisco ASA and Meraki Wireless
Palo Alto Firewalls
