Description The MS D365 Technical Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of technical solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;) platform. This role primarily focuses on building and modifying X++ code, creating integrations, customizing reports, and supporting the technical aspects of the global D365 rollout projects. The Developer will work closely with Functional Consultants and the System Integrator (SI) to transform functional designs into robust, performant, and maintainable technical solutions. Responsibilities 1. Development & Customization
• X++ Coding: Develop and maintain high-quality code in X++ for application customizations, enhancements, data entities, and business logic extensions across core D365 F&O; modules.
• Functional Design Implementation: Review Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and translate them into efficient Technical Design Documents (TDDs), ensuring that all development adheres to Microsoft and Aperam's best practices.
• Reporting: Customize and develop reports using D365 reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Electronic Reporting, Power BI integration) as required by local and global business stakeholders.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze existing and new code for performance bottlenecks, debugging issues, and applying optimization techniques to ensure a fast and stable user experience. 2. Integrations & Data Management
• Integration Development: Design and build integrations between D365 F&O; and other internal/external systems (e.g., third-party logistics, banking, legacy systems) using tools like Logic Apps, Power Automate, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Azure services.
• Data Migration Support: Assist in data mapping and transformation processes, developing custom data migration scripts or data entities required for clean and accurate data loading during country rollouts.
• API Management: Manage and utilize D365 web services and APIs (OData, Custom Service) for bi-directional data exchange. 3.



Technical Governance & Environment Support
• Code Review: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure coding standards, security, and quality are maintained across the development team.
• Deployment & DevOps: Manage code versioning, branching, merging, and deployment activities through Azure DevOps, adhering to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Environment Support: Provide technical support for D365 environments (Dev, Test, Prod), assisting with build management, hotfixes, patching, and general setting health monitoring. Qualifications Required Technical & Functional Skills
• D365 Technical Depth: Minimum 4 years of dedicated experience in D365 F&O; technical development, specifically with X++ programming, customizing forms, tables, classes, and business logic.
• Integration Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with D365 integration patterns, including Data Management Framework (DMF), OData services, and Azure integration services (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Function Apps).
• Reporting: Proficiency with SSRS (creating and modifying D365 reports) and working knowledge of Electronic Reporting (ER) and Data Entities.
• DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps for source control (Git), work item tracking, and release management processes for D365.
• Database

Skills:
Solid understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL, particularly related to the D365 database structure, data entities, and query optimization. Desired Non-Technical Competencies
