We are hiring a Backend Engineer with 3 5 years of experience to build scalable and high-performance backend systems using Python and FastAPI . The role involves working with NoSQL databases (Amazon DocumentDB preferred) in a microservices-based architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI Build and optimize backend services using NoSQL databases (Amazon DocumentDB)
Collaborate with frontend and product teams for seamless integration
Ensure API performance, scalability, and reliability Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Work in a microservices and distributed systems workplace
Debug and resolve production and development issues Follow coding standards, testing practices, and code reviews
Required Skills
Solid proficiency in Python and FastAPI
Experience building RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases
Understanding of query optimization, indexing, and caching
Knowledge of API design patterns (versioning, rate limiting, throttling)
Experience with Git, code reviews, and testing frameworks (PyTest preferred)
Familiarity with authentication and authorization (Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
Robust problem-solving and communication skills
Experience using LLM/GPT-based tools for development productivity
Nice to Have
Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP) Docker and Kubernetes
Microservices architecture CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
WebSockets and real-time systems SOC2 compliance knowledge
