NSSPL is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer - Project Purchase to manage procurement activities, vendor development, and material sourcing for refrigeration and cold storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare BOQs and analyze purchase requirements
Float enquiries and prepare techno-commercial comparisons
Create and release purchase orders
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely material delivery
Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and internal departments
Maintain vendor records, billing, and purchase documentation
Support project teams with material planning and procurement activities
Requirements :
Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Purchase / Procurement
Understanding of P&ID; drawings, engineering materials, and project requirements
Knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration systems will be an added advantage
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Positive communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
