Job Description

- Define and drive the R&D; strategy for Dish Care and Fabric Care categories aligned with business growth objectives.
- Build a robust innovation pipeline by identifying portfolio gaps, emerging consumer needs, and market opportunities
- Lead formulation development across dishwashing liquids, powders, bars, detergents, conditioners, and related home care products.
- Develop and maintain formulation libraries, technical dossiers, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead scale-up activities from laboratory through pilot and manufacturing stages.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure successful product commercialisation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Utilise AI-enabled tools to support product costing, formulation optimisation, and predictive modelling.





The Successful Applicant

- Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Surface Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience within Home Care R&D;, particularly across Dish Care and Fabric Care categories.
- Proven track record in formulation development, innovation, commercialisation, and scale-up.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and product safety standards within FMCG.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex innovation portfolios.
- Exposure to international markets and global ways of working would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to translate consumer insights into commercially successful products.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, project management, and decision-making capabilities.
