Job Description – Motor Copper Wire Winding Operator

1. Job Purpose: To perform winding/coiling of copper wire for motors according to the specified technical requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities:

- Loading copper wire onto the machine.
- Setting up and adjusting the winding machine.
- Performing the winding process as per specifications.
- Checking the number of turns and wire tension.
- Identifying and segregating defective coils.

3. Qualification: 10th / 12th pass; ITI qualification preferred.

4. Experience: 1–3 years of experience operating a coiling/winding machine preferred.

5. Required Skills:

- Proper handling of copper wire.
- Knowledge of the winding process.
- Basic machine setup and adjustment skills.

6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):





- Winding accuracy.
- Rejection rate.
- Productivity.
- Machine utilization.

7. Working Conditions: Production shop floor setting with rotational shifts.

8. Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Line Leader.

9. Special Requirements:

- Prevent damage to copper wire during handling and winding.
- Maintain the correct wire tension throughout the winding process.
- Follow all quality specifications and production standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
