Forward Deployed Engineer FDE Azure

Role Summary

We are seeking a handson Forward Deployed Engineer FDE to work directly with customers in designing building deploying and scaling AIpowered solutions on Microsoft Azure The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering and cloud expertise with deep experience in Generative AI Agentic AI and enterprisescale solution delivery This role requires a blend of technical excellence customer engagement business consulting and solution leadership to help organizations unlock measurable business value through AIled transformation

MustHave Skills

Strong proficiency in Python and API development using FastAPI andor Flask

Handson expertise with Microsoft Azure including Azure AI Foundry Azure OpenAI Azure Kubernetes Service AKS Azure Functions Azure App Services Azure Storage Cosmos DB and Azure Monitor

Strong experience with Docker Kubernetes Terraform and Infrastructure as Code IaC

Deep understanding of LLMs prompt engineering RAG architectures and AI application development

Handson experience with Azure OpenAI Azure AI Foundry Claude and enterprise AI solution development

Experience building agentic AI solutions using LangChain LangGraph CrewAI or similar frameworks

Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems such as Pinecone and ChromaDB

Strong knowledge of CICD DevOps and observability using GitHub ActionsAzure DevOps and OpenTelemetry

Ability to design build deploy and support productiongrade AI solutions in enterprise environments

Solid customerfacing communication consulting and solutioning skills

GoodtoHave Skills





Experience with React or modern web frameworks

Experience with MongoDB PostgreSQL and messaging platforms such as Kafka

Knowledge of Neo4j and knowledge graph implementations

Experience using AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot Claude Code or similar

Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry Guardrails Responsible AI practices content safety and governance controls

Experience with AI testing evaluation and monitoring tools such as LangSmith and LangFuse

Exposure to multiagent architectures workflow automation and enterprise system integrations

Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into AIdriven solutions

Design develop deploy and optimize GenAI RAG and Agentic AI applications on Azure

Integrate enterprise data sources APIs and Azure services into scalable AI architectures

Establish best practices for security observability testing and deployment

Drive endtoend ownership from solution design through production deployment and support

Ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders to define solution strategies

Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams





Experience driving business value through AIenabled transformation initiatives
