Job Description: Recruitment Consultant (HR Recruiter)

About the Role

We are looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to source, screen, and place candidates across our client companies. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, build talent pipelines, and act as the link between candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client requirements by taking job briefs from hiring managers and clarifying skills, budget, and timelines.
- Source candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media, referrals, and databases.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic or video interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Shortlist and submit suitable profiles to clients within agreed turnaround times (TAT).
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, and collect timely feedback.
- Negotiate offers, manage notice periods, and follow up until the candidate joins, to reduce drop-offs.
- Build and maintain a talent pool for current and future requirements.
- Update the ATS/tracker daily with candidate status, submissions, and closures.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Meet monthly targets for submissions, interviews, and closures.

Required Skills and Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally in a consultancy or staffing setting.
- Strong command of job portals, Boolean search, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requisitions at once.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ATS tools.
- Basic understanding of labour laws, notice period norms, and salary structures.

Preferred Skills

- Experience hiring for IT/non-IT, BFSI, manufacturing, or other niche domains.
- Exposure to both volume and leadership hiring.
- Knowledge of recruitment metrics (TAT, offer-to-join ratio, cost per hire).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Number of profiles sourced and submitted
- Interview-to-offer and offer-to-join ratios
- Closures per month and revenue contribution
- Turnaround time and client satisfaction
