JOB SUMMARY

Catalyst Education is looking for enthusiastic, confident and target-oriented Academic Counsellors to join our Calicut team.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, a passion for helping students, and the ability to convert prospective student enquiries into successful admissions.

Freshers with solid communication skills and an interest in sales and education are welcome to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Counsel students and parents about available courses, training programs and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds, interests and career goals.
- Recommend suitable courses based on students' requirements.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, enquiries and prospective student leads.
- Follow up with interested students through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Explain course details, fees, benefits and career opportunities clearly.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions and achieve monthly targets.
- Handle student objections and address queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate lead details and follow-up records in the CRM.
- Coordinate with academic and admission teams for smooth student onboarding.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.




- Participate in counselling activities and admission campaigns.
- Prepare daily activity reports and maintain follow-up discipline.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
- Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply.
- Excellent Malayalam communication skills; English proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, convincing and negotiation skills.
- Good listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office.
- Knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work toward sales targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.
