Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 2–6 years of relevant experience, extendable up to 10 years, in machinery design, mechanical development, and project execution. The role involves designing and developing specialized machinery for microalgae cultivation and processing projects, preparing engineering drawings, planning equipment layouts, and supervising in office installation and commissioning.

Candidates must be comfortable with both mechanical design work and hands-on site responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and develop machinery, mechanical components, and equipment for microalgae cultivation and processing projects.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, fabrication drawings, and assembly layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
- Develop project layouts and plan equipment positioning, piping arrangements, and installation requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fabrication, and project execution teams.
- Support prototype development, machinery fabrication, assembly, testing, and performance improvement.
- Visit project sites to supervise machinery installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Identify mechanical issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, contractors,



and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain technical documentation, bills of materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and installation records.
- Conduct equipment trials and ensure successful project handover to customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; typically 2–6 years, with candidates up to 10 years also considered.
- Strong knowledge of machine design, mechanical components, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD design tools.
- Experience in mechanical drawings, equipment layouts, assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of pumps, motors, piping systems, and industrial equipment is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and project coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and participate in installation and commissioning activities.

Preferred Experience

- Machinery design and development.
- Industrial equipment or process machinery.
- Fabrication, plant setup, and equipment installation.
- Food processing, agricultural machinery, water treatment, or similar engineering projects.

Important Role Requirement

This position combines mechanical design, machinery development, and hands-on site work. Candidates must be comfortable managing responsibilities across the complete project lifecycle, from design and development to installation, testing, and customer handover.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
