JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES EXECUTIVE (FURNITURE SHOWROOM)

Position: Sales Executive – Furniture Showroom

1. Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, customer-oriented, and motivated Sales Executive for our furniture showroom. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, understanding their furniture requirements, recommending suitable products, achieving sales targets, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

The ideal candidate should have good communication and convincing skills, a professional attitude, and an interest in furniture, home interiors, and customer service.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and understand their furniture requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Explain product features, specifications, materials, finishes, designs, and pricing.
- Demonstrate furniture products, including sofas, beds, dining tables, wardrobes, chairs, recliners, and other home furniture.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer needs, space, style, and budget.
- Maintain customer records, enquiry details, and follow-up reports.
- Monitor product availability,



pricing, and stock requirements in coordination with the store team.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on furniture trends, new collections, materials, and competitor offerings.

3. Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: graduation is preferred.
- Experience in furniture retail, home furnishings, interior design, or showroom sales is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and convincing abilities.
- Basic knowledge of furniture materials, upholstery, finishes, dimensions, and pricing.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel, email
- Ability to work towards sales targets and handle multiple customer enquiries.
- Presentable personality, positive attitude, honesty, and punctuality.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
