Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities

- Work closely withCloud Architects, Solution Architects, Developers, SRE, and Engineering teams to design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions for products and services.
- Design, deploy, and maintainMicrosoft Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, performance, and operational supportability.
- Create and maintaininfrastructure architecture diagrams, technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks for Azure environments.
- Develop, automate, and testend-to-end cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code and configuration-management tools.
- Implement infrastructure automation usingTerraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Python, including automated provisioning, configuration, scaling, and operational tasks.
- Design and optimizeAzure networking and cloud connectivity, including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Route Tables, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Private Endpoints, VPN, DNS, and Firewall.
- Deploy and manageKubernetes/AKS and containerized workloads, including cluster configuration, application deployment, scaling, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Design, implement, and maintainCI/CD pipelines for automated application and infrastructure deployments using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
- Develop and enhance infrastructure architecture,performance optimization, capacity planning, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions to support 99.9% uptime.
- Implement monitoring and observability usingAzure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana to proactively identify infrastructure and application issues.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to develop current technology initiatives focused onavailability, scalability, security, performance, automation, and supportability.
- Troubleshoot complexAzure, Kubernetes, networking, Linux, Windows, and CI/CD issues and participate in root-cause analysis and production support.




- Establish and enforcecloud, DevOps, security, infrastructure, and automation best practices across environments.
- Stay current with emergingAzure, DevOps, Kubernetes, automation, security, and cloud-native technologies and continuously improve technical capabilities.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships acrossArchitecture, Engineering, Development, Security, QA, Operations, and Product teams.
- Prepare and deliverweekly technical updates and presentations on completed work, infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and technical solutions to senior team members and team leads.

YOU MUST HAVE

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 4 years of hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience withAzure services, networking, compute, storage, identity, security, and monitoring.
- Proficiency inTerraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Python for infrastructure automation and scripting.
- Strong understanding ofAzure networking and cloud connectivity, including VNet, Subnets, NSGs, Routing, VPN, DNS, Load Balancer, Firewall, and Private Endpoints.
- Strong experience withLinux and Windows system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience withKubernetes and preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong experience designing and maintainingCI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
- Experience withDocker and containerized application deployments.
- Understanding ofcloud security, RBAC, Managed Identity, Key Vault, secrets management, and secure infrastructure practices.
- Experience withAzure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent monitoring/observability platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
