Job responsibilities
- Assist production workers in transformer manufacturing, assembly, fabrication and other factory operations as instructed by the Production Supervisor.
- Perform loading, unloading, shifting and stacking of materials using only approved handling equipment and trained personnel, ensuring safe movement and preventing damage.
- Follow PPE requirements, protected lifting procedures, factory traffic rules and designated exclusion zones during all material handling activities.
- Maintain clear walkways, organised storage areas and proper segregation and disposal of waste materials to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist production workers with packing, material preparation, cleaning and general housekeeping activities under supervision, while following assigned work instructions and production schedules.
