Shift: Rotational shifts with on-call support Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL to manage and optimize enterprise database environments in a Managed Services setup.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server across multiple versions.
• Manage Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure VMs.
• Handle backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Implement TDE, Azure Key Vault, and database security best practices.
• Troubleshoot Always On Availability Groups, clustering, log shipping, and replication.
• Perform query optimization, index tuning, and database performance troubleshooting.




• Automate DBA activities using T-SQL and PowerShell.
• Manage SQL Server Agent jobs, incidents, changes, and root cause analysis.
• Support MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle environments.
• Work directly with customers, meet SLAs, maintain documentation, and mentor junior engineers. Required Technical Skills
• 8+ years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience.
• Robust expertise in Azure SQL and Azure-hosted SQL Server environments.
• Backup and recovery, database upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• High availability, disaster recovery, TDE, and Azure Key Vault.
• T-SQL, PowerShell, and SQL Server Agent.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL, and managed services operations.
