Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and dynamic PR Manager – Government & PSU to join our Mumbai team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of government communication, public sector undertakings (PSUs), media relations, and stakeholder engagement. The candidate must be proficient in Marathi and English, with the ability to develop and execute effective PR strategies for government bodies, public sector organisations, and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic PR and communication campaigns for government departments, PSUs, and public sector clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, key stakeholders, media professionals, and institutional representatives.
• Handle media relations, including drafting press releases, media advisories, official statements, backgrounders, and communication briefs.
• Identify relevant media opportunities across print, electronic, and digital platforms to enhance client visibility.
• Coordinate press conferences, media briefings, government events, public outreach initiatives, and stakeholder engagement programmes.
• Monitor media coverage, government announcements, policy developments, and sector-specific news to identify communication opportunities.
• Manage client servicing, account planning, campaign execution, reporting,



and regular client updates.
• Develop communication strategies aligned with client objectives, public policy priorities, and institutional requirements.
• Oversee Marathi and English content development, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency in messaging.
• Work closely with internal teams, clients, media representatives, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of communication initiatives.
• Track campaign performance, prepare media coverage reports, and provide strategic recommendations to clients. Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in public relations, preferably with exposure to government, PSU, public affairs, or corporate communications.
• Fluency in Marathi and English is mandatory, including robust written and verbal communication skills.
• Established media contacts across Maharashtra, particularly with Marathi and regional media.
• Understanding of government communication processes, public sector institutions, and the Maharashtra media landscape.
• Excellent writing, editing, presentation, client servicing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Strong coordination, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
