Up to ₹22 LPA Employment Type: Full time Remote Vacancy :10 Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Data Engineer at WEBCONVOY-PVT. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and product features across web and mobile solutions. Daily responsibilities include implementing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, optimizing data flows, and developing scalable data models and data warehouses. The role involves collaborating with developers, data scientists, and product teams to understand data requirements, ensure data quality, and improve performance of data systems. The Data Engineer will also contribute to documentation, monitoring, and automation of data infrastructure in cloud environments. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling to create efficient schemas and structures supporting analytics and application use cases.




• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to integrate, clean, and transform data from multiple sources.
• Ability in Data Analytics to interpret data, support reporting, and collaborate with stakeholders on data-driven decisions.
• Experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent), and modern data pipeline frameworks.
• Knowledge of version control, CI/CD practices, and basic DevOps concepts related to data workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Required Skills
• 5–8 years of relevant data engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or PySpark.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Experience with Git, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Good to Have
• Experience with Databricks, dbt, Kafka, or change data capture.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience supporting BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
