Role Description The Assistant Professor role is a full time, on-site position based at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar. The selected candidate will deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in their subject area, ensuring effective and engaging teaching aligned with academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and course materials, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing academic mentoring and support. The Assistant Professor will participate in curriculum development, contribute to research and scholarly activities, and engage in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional events. The role also involves maintaining accurate academic records,



supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. Qualifications
• Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., Master’s or Doctorate) in Engineering, Architecture, Management, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Hotel Management, Tourism and Hospitality, Fashion Designing, Commerce, Education, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated subject-matter expertise and the ability to design and deliver structured lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
• Strong teaching, mentoring, and classroom management skills, with a commitment to inclusive and learner-centered pedagogy.
• Experience or interest in academic research, publications, and participation in scholarly conferences or professional bodies.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and support institutional initiatives.
• Proficiency in using educational technology, learning management systems, and digital tools to enhance teaching and assessment.
• Ability to contribute to academic administration, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of programs.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education is preferred; eligibility and qualifications as per regulatory or accreditation norms (e.g., UGC/AICTE/COA/PCI) will be an added advantage.
