We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Web Developer who is eager to learn and build modern websites using WordPress and Shopify. Qualification:BTech or BCA Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
• Assist in building and maintaining Shopify stores.
• Create landing pages for marketing campaigns.
• Customize themes, layouts and website sections as required.
• Install and configure plugins and apps.
• Update website content, images and products.
• Optimize web pages for speed, performance and user experience.
• Perform website maintenance, backups and routine updates.
• Identify and fix basic website issues and bugs.
• Coordinate with designers and digital marketers to implement website requirements.
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast and user-friendly.
• Generate or edit basic website visuals using AI image generation tools and design software where required. Required Skills
• Basic knowledge of HTML,
CSS and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of PHP and WordPress.
• Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins and page builders (Elementor preferred).
• Basic understanding of Shopify and its admin panel.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
• Basic understanding of website hosting, domains and DNS.
• Familiarity with Git is a plus.
• Solid problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Preferred
• Personal, college or freelance projects demonstrating website development.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Technical SEO (broken links, redirects, metadata, sitemap, robots.txt, schema basics, Core Web Vitals and common website SEO issues) is a plus.
• Basic image generation and editing skills for website banners, graphics and visual assets using AI tools or design software.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot to improve productivity is a plus. What We're Looking For
