Role Description The Veterinary Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Telangana, India. This position is responsible for greeting clients and their pets, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and maintaining a welcoming reception area. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, updating client and patient records, and coordinating with veterinary and nursing teams to support smooth clinic operations. The role also involves handling payments, explaining basic clinic processes,



and providing clear information about services, follow-up visits, and hospital policies. The Veterinary Receptionist is expected to provide calm, courteous, and efficient service, especially during busy or emergency situations. Qualifications
• Strong client interaction skills, including Communication, Phone Etiquette, and Client Education.
• Administrative and organizational abilities, such as Appointment Scheduling and accurate record-keeping.
• Basic understanding of Animal Care and comfort with interacting with companion animals in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency with computer systems, practice management software, and standard office applications.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment.
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, healthcare setting, or customer service role is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in veterinary assistance or office administration is an advantage.
