Role Description The Audit Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and reviewing statutory and internal audits for corporate clients, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Chennai involves leading engagement teams, allocating work, mentoring junior staff, and monitoring timelines and quality of deliverables. The Audit Manager will analyze financial information, identify control weaknesses, recommend improvements, and prepare explicit audit reports and documentation.



The role includes coordinating with client management, addressing audit queries, supporting tax and advisory assignments where required, and contributing to internal process improvements and knowledge sharing. Qualifications
• Knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations.
• Expertise in Financial Audits and Financial Statements, including planning, execution, review, and reporting.
• Analytical Skills to assess financial data, evaluate internal controls, and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent; additional certifications (e.g., CISA, CPA) are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in audit, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment, with prior team leadership responsibility.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in audit tools, spreadsheets, and accounting software, and a high level of integrity and professional ethics.
