Role Description The Academic Advisor – International will provide one-on-one and group advising to prospective and enrolled students who are exploring study abroad options. In this full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, the advisor will guide students through academic program selection, country and university choices, and alignment of overseas study plans with long-term career goals. Typical responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, reviewing academic records, explaining admission and scholarship requirements, and coordinating with internal teams for application and document support.



The advisor will also deliver information sessions, respond to student and family inquiries, maintain accurate advising records, and stay current on international education trends, university partnerships, and visa regulations. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong student counseling and communication skills to effectively guide diverse learners and interact with families.
• Candidates should possess career counseling and academic advising skills to help students connect study abroad plans with academic progression and career pathways.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of education systems and international study options to provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• Relevant experience in academic advising, student services, or international education is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, International Studies, or a related field is desirable.
• Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage multiple student cases, and use digital tools for records and communication.
