JD:

Position Name: Planning Support Engineer for Bodyshop planning department

Education & experience:- Bachelor's Engineering Degree either from Mechanical or Production Engineering background with minimum 2-3 years' experience with understanding of manufacturing processes, process planning and knowledge about BIW.

Location: Chakan, Pune.

Department: Bodyshop Planning.

Job Desirables

- Documentation generation for 3P Workshop
- Card board simulation for analyzing build sequence of car body
- Optimize manufacturing methods, optimize workload, Ergonomics
- Identify optimization potentials in manufacturing families
- Manage and monitor project milestones and report to the Project manager
- Inspect the line as per available SAVW Standard and raise Open points
- Making Necessary Arrangement of trial parts, Supplier Availability, and Line Arrangement
- Collaborating with Supplier, Production, Pilot Hall, Quality and Maintenance Team for problem Diagnosis and Correction
- Coordinating with engineering team for implantation of new processes




- Utilize and analyze Existing Body shop process data and any other applications as necessary to perform the job requirements for new shop
- Derive alternatives to increase productivity and eliminate performance issues
- Updating and display of Process Plan (Spot Plan, Sealer Plan, Joint plan etc.) after series improvement in existing process/Fixture
- Participate and Contribute in KVP Workshop
- Installation & Commissioning of New equipments.
- Should have worked in Body shop of four wheeler automobile company for minimum 2 yrs.
- General understanding and ability to interpret with 2D drawings and technical data sheets
- Having knowledge about welding, sealing, robots, jig and fixtures.
- Experience in Process Planning for new model integration & modification of layouts
- Experience in Installation and commissioning of BIW assembly lines
- Process Planning Engineer having knowledge and experience of Volkswagen MQB Standard is an added advantage.

Notice period- 1 month.
